NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATION
Science Day was celebrated on the 28th of February, 2020 in G.V.M.’s Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education. The theme for the celebrations in college was From "Atoms to Universe".The preparation for Science day had started well in advance. Responsibilities were allotted to the Science students. Students of other methods too were given a chance to participate.
The Chief Guest for the function was Mr. Paresh Parab. He was accompanied by chairman of GVM’s working committee Mr. Bhaskar Khandeparkar and Member of GVM’s working committee Mr.Ashok Nagvenkar.The Function started with the welcoming of the chief guest and declaring open the Science Mela. Science Mela saw the display of various Science exhibits. The library was converted into a Dark room for a day. Mesmerizing videos of life from atoms to Universe were shown there. I was there for shells exhibition in Marine Expo. Each Floor had students with their exhibits. The program concluded by a lovely tribute to our dearest Ma’am, Dr. Anna Neena George. It was truely a fruitful experience.
